		*Jan 2008*		Little Man Ernie and I started dog school again this week. He's doing formal obedience so I can try him some formal obedience competions next summer, maybe. It's still fun to be doing the classes with him, whether or not he ever makes it into a ring. Malamutes and obedience training are fun! He is also a fantasticly soft-tempered malamute. He's gentle, patient, kind and very good-natured around any sex, any breed of dog.
*No Show . . .*		*Dec 2007*		I did enter the last show of the year, but skipped it and took all three beasts to play in the snow for Xmas instead. Far more entertaining! So that concludes the year . . . Snow weight pulls begin shortly and the lads are definitely looking forward to that. I don't know what else 2008 will hold, maybe a puppy . . . or two . . . or three? Have a good New Year!

*Pack and Pull*		*Sept 2007*	Super Bertie! If Little Man finishes playing, maybe he will do some work!	*Bert:* Had the third best pull of the day at 1000 pounds and came home with a gold medal *Ernie:* Had the fourth best pull of the day at 900 or so pounds (I lost track) and also came home with a medal! *Ooky:* Handled by Jennifer Remazki, Ooky rec'd a CGC. Ooky didn't get to do the weightpull and the boys didn't get to do the CGC test. I drove 1000 km so that each dog was able to do something. So now she is: CKC / FCC / INT CH Yukonjak's Seal of Distinction CGC

HELP League Race		January 2006		*Bert and Ernie complete a real sled dog race!* And we have the single worst recorded time in history of the race! But it was still a lot of fun to take two untrained Alaskan Malamutes into a race.
