A litter of Alaskan Malamute puppies will be born late Summer 2008. 'Pet Alaskan Malamute puppies' will cost $500. I am still accepting applications. You need to fill out a PDFapplication and if you can't use it you can E-mail me and ask for a different format.

The puppies will be warranted free of hereditary defects for their entire lives in writing (i.e. epilepsy, heart defects, crippling dysplasia, and any form of blindness) with purchase price back. Puppies will be warranted against having chondrosysplasia (dwarfism), in writing.A variety of health tests were done on parents, ask for details. 'Pet' Alaskan Malamute puppies will not be shipped, nor will they be sold outside of Ontario or Quebec. No deposits are required until after the litter is born.

Pet owners will also be contractually obligated to NOT spay or neuter their Alaskan Malamute puppy at not less than 12 months of age, (due to risks associated with the development of osteosarcoma later in life), and not more than 18 months of age. At proof of spay or neuter, full ownership will revert to the puppy owner.

Dam has significant M'Loot and Husky-Pak, which are all foundation dogs of the breed, and not just kennel names. M'Loot, Husky-Pak and North Wind / Silver Sled dogs are a major part of the pedigree. But she also has significant T'Domar, Kodara, Tote-um, Sena-Lak and Tigara dogs behind her, several of which were Kotzebue.

Both parents have multiple titles, as do their parents, gradparents, etc. All of the acronym titles below, which are in various dogs titles, mean different things. They are titles of achievement, either in the dog show world or in the world of work: AKC is American Kennel Club Champion; CKC is Canadian Kennel Club Champion; BDA is Bermuda Conformation Champion; WTD is Working Team Dog, WLD is Working Lead Dog; WPD is Working Pack Dog; WWPD is Working Weight Pull Dog; ROM is Register of Merit; BIS is Best in Show; BISS is Best in Specialty Show (a specific show where only Alaskan Malamutes compete).

In the case of the puppies mother, she is CKC CH / FCC Elite CH / INT CH Yukonjak's Seal of Distinction, CGC. She has four different conformation titles: a Canadian Kennel Club Championship ; one basic and advanced title from Federation Canine Canada and who follow Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) format; AND is an International Champion from the International All-breed Canine Association, which follows Union Cynologie International (UCI) format.

Dam's father is from Snowlion Alaskan Malamutes and a CKC conformation champion. Snowlion is a professional and successful 'sledding' kennel. They also do conformation shows. His grandmother is the show-and-working-titled AKC CH Snowlion's Kali Devi ROM, WPD, WTD, WLD which means she has conformation titles and working titles. Dam's father is the son of BISS AKC CH Nanuke's A Rumor of War WTD, WLD, ROM. He, along with her father's mother, and her father's other grandfather, Uyak Aleut Alex WTD, are also working- and show-titled. Uyak has been consistently successful in conformation showing more than four decades.

Nanuke is currently one of the most successful conformation showing Alaskan Malamute kennels in North America. BISS AKC CH Nanuke's A Rumor of War WTD, WLD, ROM is the full brother to 'BISS AKC CH Nanuke's Lockport Louie ROM' and the full brother to 'BIS BISS CH Nanuke's Take No Prisoners, ROM.'

Cascade Alaskan Malamutes definitely emphasize 'work' but also do Alaskan Malamute conformation showing, as seen with her grandfather CH Cascade's Sabre Bear. Cascade is North America's most successful competition 'weight pull' Alaskan Malamute kennels.

Yukonjak Alaskan Malamutes has been showing Alaskan Malamutes and breeding Alaskan Malamute puppies in Ontario almost 25 years, to show, work and pet homes, with an emphasis on 'pet'. Yukonjak dogs can, and have, done sledding, weight pull, conformation showing in North America and Europe, as well as agility and obedience.
