Once again, I became bored with the old Slushpuppy Alaskan Malamutes Web site and rebuilt it. My 'Furry Dollies' deserve a new Web site at least once a year! So, out with the old - in with the new!

 

The furry dollies are my Alaskan Malamutes! For ten years, I've had Alaskan Malamutes and I have a lot of photographs. My Alaskan Malamutes are in Ontario, Canada - one hour from Ottawa, Kingston and Brockville. Two hours from Montreal, three hours to Toronto. Feel free to sign the new Guestbook!

Nme: Ooky (Born: March 23, 2005)

Ooky is my fourth Alaskan Malamutes. Her father is from Snowlion, her mother is Yukonjak. Her grandfather's breeders are Nanuke and the other grandfather is from Cascade Malamutes. She has five conformation titles, two temperament tests, several CKC / FCC Group placements and several legs toward working titles. She finished the 2007 show year as the #4 Female Alaskan Malamutes (#13 males / females) for the Alaskan Malamutes Club of Canada statistics. 75-pound Ms Ook has a lot of titles:

Yukonjak's Ernie
CGN, TT

Name: Ernie (born: Feb 5, 2002)

Ernie is a soft, gentle, quiet leader and is a weight pulling Alaskan Malamute. He's the alpha and is neutered. Bert and Ernie are inseparable. Ernie has many, many weight pull wins to his credit. Ernie came from Yukonjak Alaskan Malamutes and is full of Storm Kloud and Strawberry Mountain, unlike my other dogs.

 

100-pound Ernie has many working event wins:

• Multiple Gold Medals at many weight pulls
• Multiple Top Pulls at several events
• CGC (Canine Good Citizen)
• TT (Temperament Tested)

 

Dirty Bert CGC

Name: Bert (Born: March 21, 2004)

Dirty Bert is an American Kennel Club (AKC) registered Alaskan Malamute and he is neutered, too. Bert is a weight pull winning Alaskan Malamute, too! Bert's family tree is Wako Alaskan Malamutes. He does have a little bit of Uyak in him, though. My other dogs have a lot of Uyak in them.

 

138-pound Bert has several event wins:

• CGC (Canine Good Citizen)
• Multiple 'Gold Winning' Weightpuller
• Multiple Top Pulls at several events

Name: Tinker (Born: December 7, 2008)

Tinker (frequently called Stinker) is Ooky's baby. She's just been having a good time being a puppy, up to now. Her dad is from SnoKlassic with most of his relatives being from Taolan Alaskan Malamutes. We sure hope she gets a title or two some day, too!

yukonjak's Tala

Name: tala (Oct 31, 1999 - April 8, 2004)

Tala was the first of the Alaskan Malamutes and she came from Yukonjak. She died of osteosarcoma (bone cancer), Cancer and aggression problems in females are widely and extensively linked to early spay and neuter, which was done to her. I will never spay or neuter a dog under one year of age again! Tala was mainly an outcross, Kinartic, Storm Kloud, Barrenfield, Wakon and Cascade.
